MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was found dead late Tuesday night after witnesses at the scene said he was shot in the head.
Memphis Police Department (MPD) said officers responded to a shooting in the 1700 block of Eldridge Ave. at 10:36 p.m. Monday, June 5.
MPD said officers found a man with a gunshot wound at the scene, and he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Witnesses told ABC24 a man walked up to the victim and shot him in the head twice.
The investigation is ongoing, MPD said.
