Victim identified in deadly Midtown Memphis apartment complex shooting

Police found Mallory Morgan, 27, dead with gunshot wounds outside her home in Midtown early Thursday.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — UPDATE 6:35 p.m. Friday: Memphis police have identified the woman that was found shot dead Thursday morning in Midtown.

According to Memphis police and sister station WBIR-TV, the victim was identified as Mallory Morgan, 27.

Police were called to the shooting at The Tuscany Midtown Place Apartments at 12:34 a.m. 

The shooting investigation is ongoing and there are no suspects yet, police said. If you have any information that can help police, call Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH.


Memphis Police Department responded to a shooting at The Tuscany Midtown Place Apartments at 12:34 a.m.

According to MPD, the victim was dead on arrival. There is currently no suspect in custody.

This is an ongoing homicide investigation. MPD requests that anyone who has any information about the homicide call 901-528-2274.
