Suspects caught on camera chasing driver into Memphis Animal Services lot after shooting at car

Memphis Police are asking anyone who may know anything about this crime to call Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are looking for the suspects who shot at and chased a driver to the parking lot of Memphis Animal Services before stealing his car.

The victim told investigators on March 21, 2022, just before midnight, he was in the area of Summer Avenue and Raleigh LaGrange when some suspects in a silver Altima started shooting at his car. He took off, and police said the suspects chased him all the way to the parking lot of Memphis Animal Services on Appling City Cove near Appling.

Video shows the victim crashing through the gate at MAS while trying to get away. Police said he jumped out of his car and ran away. Investigators said the suspects continued to shoot the car several times before one of them jumped inside and then both vehicles took off.
