Hepatitis A warning from Arkansas health officials

A McDonald’s worker in Trumann, Arkansas, tested positive for hepatitis A and may have put customers at risk.

UPDATE 7/26/2019 – Statement from Greg Madison, McDonald’s Owner/Operator: “We were informed by the Arkansas Department of Health that one of our former employees became ill with Hep A, however, the transmission risk to guests and employees who have visited our restaurant is low. We are fully cooperating with local officials to ensure the health and safety of all our employees and guests. We are committed to providing a clean and safe environment for all who visit our restaurant and have taken the proactive steps to completely sanitize our restaurant.”

TRUMANN, Ark. (localmemphis.com) – A McDonald’sworker in Trumann, Arkansas, tested positive for hepatitis A and may have putcustomers at risk.

Anyone who ate at the McDonald’s at 500 IndustrialPark Drive from July 9 to July 16 should get vaccinated now. That McDonald’s isright off the interstate in Trumann.

The health department is offering freevaccinations Friday from 7:30am until 6pm at the Poinsett County Health Unit.
