MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com)- The chilly temps Saturday didn’t keep dozens of people from coming out to the 12 annual Frayser Christmas parade.
The parade route started at Watkins and Frayser Boulevard at Noon.
There were more than 30 participants this year including high school bands, Divas of Olive Branch and Lemoyne-Owen College Band.
Frayser natives say they look forward to this parade every year!
“Even in Frayser, as much violence as you have seen on TV this is a community of people that’s trying to come together, trying to make a better place for the children, for themselves to live,” said Frayser resident, Clayborn Taylor.
There was also a float competition with everything Christmas themed.
