The Shelby County Sheriff’s office says a 16-year-old has been arrested and charged with attempted second-degree murder after a 17-year-old was shot and another person was stabbed Monday.
It happened in Cordova near Radley Cove and Delafield Avenue. Both victims were taken to Regional One. Officials say one of those victims is in critical condition.
According to witnesses on scene, the mother of one of the victims said her son was robbed by a group of friends.
The 16-year-old suspect was taken to juvenile court, and that person’s name has not been released.
