“Albree’s Closet” Aims To Help Child Abuse Victims In Senatobia, MS

A somber event sheds new light on the murder of a child in Senatobia, Mississippi, all while keeping her memory alive.

Tate County unveiled Albree’s Closet Friday, in support of victims of child abuse. It’s named after one-year-old Albree Lattimer who died last year.

The closet in the city courthouse is open for donations such as kids’ clothes, diapers, and toiletries.

Albree’s loved ones are hopeful their tragedy will help others.

“She deserves all the recognition she could get because she went through the unthinkable at just 3-months-old. She deserves everything, even though she’s not here. That other children need and want for being abused, and there’s still abuse for the other children,” says aunt Amy Work.

The investigation into the little girl’s death remains open, so family remain tight-lipped about the case.
