Captured: Man Wanted For Attempted Murder In Helena-West Helena

A man on parole for murder is wanted by the Helena-West Helena Police for shooting a man at a convenience store Tuesday.

UPDATE: Helena-West Helena Police Chief Virgil Green confirms to Localmemphis.com that  Andre Ewing has been arrested.

A man on parole for murder is wanted by the Helena-West Helena Police for shooting a man at a convenience store Tuesday.
 
According to Chief Virgil Green, 35-year-old Andre Ewing shot David Clark III Tuesday around 4:08 p.m. in the area of Sebastian and North 2nd Street Near A-Z Food Mart.
 
Green says Clark was shot in the neck.  He was flown to Regional One in Memphis in stable condition.
 
Investigators suspect this maybe related to some type of ongoing disturbance between the victim and the shooter. 
 
Ewing is considered armed and extremely dangerous.
 
Ewing was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2002 for 2nd Degree Murder.  He was released on parole in August, 2014.
