MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Members of a South Memphis church honored their late pastor during a street naming ceremony Sunday afternoon.
The corner of Wellington and McEwen is now renamed after the late Reverend Joseph H. McGhee Jr..
McGhee was the pastor of the Greater White Stone Missionary Baptist Church from 1972-2010. Members say he was very involved in the community as a school teacher and a great humanitarian.
