City of Memphis extends curfew for another day

Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland has extended the city curfew for another day; effective at 10 p.m.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Mayor Jim Strickland has extended the curfew for the city of Memphis.

Just like the past two days, the curfew will begin at 10 p.m. and remain in effect until 6 a.m. Thursday morning.

The curfew does not apply to people who have to be out on the streets for work, health or safety purposes.
