Officers reported that a construction worker was killed after being trapped between two pieces of equipment Saturday.
The victim was at a new bridge site on Fite Road near the train tracks, according to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the construction worker died at the scene.
He worked for Ford Construction out of Dyersburg.
The victim has not been identified.
