A little boy got his wish when he was made a DeSoto County deputy!
Wednesday, Sheriff Bill Rasco and a team of deputies with the DeSoto Co. Sheriff’s Department surprised 7-year-old Piero Montiel Arroyo at the St. Jude Target House in Memphis.
It was part of an effort with the “Make A Wish” Foundation.
Piero’s only wish was to be a cop. Sheriff Rasco swore him in as an “Honorary Sheriff’s Deputy”.
They say he was put straight to work and had to conduct traffic stops, which led to an arrest.
Also, CMS Uniforms of Memphis helped to get Piero’s uniform put together so quickly.
