A DeSoto County Schools student is suspended after getting caught with a BB gun on campus.
According to a DCS spokesperson, Lewisburg High School teachers saw a student with what appeared to be a BB gun in the parking lot Thursday morning before school.
School administrators and the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Department were alerted. They found a BB gun in the student’s vehicle.
The student was removed from campus and will face disciplinary action in accordance with the DeSoto County Schools code of discipline.
