NASHVILLE, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – Former Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam is providing his own deadline on when he’ll decide if he’s running for U.S. Senate.
Haslam announced at a big Republican dinner this weekend that he plans to make up his mind within the next two to three weeks. If he does run, Haslam would be the immediate front-runner for Lamar Alexander’s U.S. Senate seat.
Several other Republicans are holding off making a decision, waiting for what Haslam will do.
