GERMANTOWN, Tenn. (localmemphis.com)- Some Germantown residents were without water on Saturday.
This comes after several residence were without power on Friday night. Memphis Light Gas & Water says the outage knocked out power to the Southern Avenue Water Treatment Plant.
An official says as the power was restored, a pressure surge occured which broke a water main.
Customers near Farmington Boulevard East of Allenby Road had their service interrupted.
Water for residents was back on by noon Saturday.
Officials say if you are still without water, try letting your faucets run for a few minutes to flush out the system.
