You can help treat a furry friend to a sweet treat for Valentine’s Day.
You’re invited to loan a shelter dog your heart, by taking them in for a two-night “sleepover.”
Here’s how it works:
You take a adoptable dog home by 7:00 p.m. Thursday night.
Bring them back Saturday between 1:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m.
Dog food will also be provided.
Organizers say the foster program is a win-win for everyone involved.
“The idea is to get some kennel space freed up, get some animals into homes where they can get these wonderful real-life experiences, and hopefully have a bunch of them not come back to the shelter and up getting adopted,” says Alexis Pugh, Director of Memphis Animal Services.
If you feel that your dog date is the one, you can take advantage of the MAS Sleepover special adoption fee of just $20.
