MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com)- Sunday, Memphians got a chance to observe what the holiday season is like in the Hispanic community.
La Prensa Latina hosted a free Christmas Fiesta at Soccer City 901 in Northeast Memphis.
This has been a free event for more than 10 years.
Latin bands were brought in to give the event an authentic feel while bringing people closer together.
“It’s good for the community we try to like make sure that ya know build that bridge between the latin community and american community so that they know a little bit of each others culture,” said Jairo Arguijo, La Prensa Latina.
Kids also got to enjoy a magic show, free food, music and dancing.
