Janai Malone, a student-athlete is involved in a number of activities and organizations in school that help her serve her community.
She has helped raise awareness about Autism and throwing a senior-prom at a nursing home through her leadership labs, clubs and as Student Council president, Mayor’s youth council, Student Ambassador Vice-President.
“I can’t even remember it all,” said Malone.
She’s involved in so much that it’s hard to keep up with.
“Whenever I am at home and not doing anything I get completely bored,” said Malone. “So I have to be busy just to stay sane honestly. I just love doing a lot of things.”
Janai was also named this year’s Homecoming Queen.
This shining star understands the importance of service.
“Get involved for sure– it’s helping my high school experience so much,” said Malone.
It’s also helping her inspire the next generation of leaders.
Malone wants to major in biology. She hopes to attend Duke University or Mississippi State.
