MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com)- Saturdays are dedicated to the Girls Scouts!
The organization hosted a day filled with events to introduce girls and their families to the new adventures in Girl Scouts Saturday.
The event welcomed local girls to view the other opportunities in Girls Scouts besides just selling cookies.
The group is involved in the arts, STEM, and volunteering in the local communities.
Several events were held across the Memphis area to inform those of the organization.
“It’s really what you make of it,” said Leadership Specialist Rebecca Jacoby. “We have a wide range of activities. We cover STEAM activities, other social outings, really just anything that you can think of, Girls Scouts has to offer.”
Girls Scouts Hearts of the South has also declared August 24th and 31st as Girl Scouts Saturdays.
During those days, other areas across the Mid-South will offer information to girls interested in joining the organization.
