SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (localmemphis.com) – Those in Southaven with contempt of court warrants have an opportunity to get their warrants dismissed through the Safe Surrender program with the Southaven Police Department.
Here’s how it works: those with a contempt of court warrant need to bring $200 cash to the Southaven Municipal Court at 8889 Northwest Drive on Monday, October 7 between 2-6pm OR Friday, October 11 between 10am-1pm.
The program is called Safe Surrender because when the warrant is dismissed on either of those two days, people will be allowed to leave because arrests will not be made.
