Memphis police are investigating after three people were shot in a neighborhood near the airport.
Officers say a shooting call came in just after 8:00 p.m. in the 3600 block of Cazassa. Two people there were shot, and they say one of those victims, possibly 15-years-old, was taken by private vehicle to Methodist South. The teen’s condition is not known.
The second victim, an adult male, was taken to Regional One in critical condition.
Police say a third man was found shot nearby in the 1800 block of Wessex. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Police say they believe the shootings are connected. They have not said if anyone is charged.
