Memphis University School’s battle with Brentwood Academy will be one of nine state high school football championship games to be televised live on CW30, Memphis’ LOCAL SPORTS STATION.

The Owls will put a perfect 11-0 record on the line in the Division II Class AAA game on Friday November 30 at 7:00 pm.

The contest will be the third Division II game played that day.  The Class A game is scheduled at 11 am and the Class AA will be played at 3 pm.

Division I play kicks off the three days of Championship action at Tennessee Tech’s Tucker Stadium in Cookeville on Thursday November 29.  The Class 2A game begins at 11 am with the 4A game to follow at 3 pm.  Thursday’s 6A Championship could feature Whitehaven at 7 pm.  The Tigers face Ravenwood on November 23 in a 6A semi-final matchup.

The final three trophies will be awarded on Saturday December 1.  The Class 1A game begins at 11 am, the 3A game follows at 3 pm and the 5A game wraps up play at 7 pm.

All games will be carried live on CW30, WLMT TV.

“We consider the high school championships to be one of the programming highlights of the year,” says Joe Denk, VP-GM of CW30.  “This is an opportunity to showcase some of the finest young people the state of Tennessee has to offer.”
