Search On For Illegal Dumping Suspects

City of Memphis officials are looking for suspect(s) illegally dumping in a wooded area near Mart Rd and Levi Rd. The suspect(s) were seen on surveillance cameras driving a white Chevy Astro van, towing a trailer with a green Jon-boat filled with debris.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect(s) identity, or the van are asked to notify the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) immediately at (901) 490-6337 or the City of Memphis Solid Waste Management Department (901) 636-6866. Your identity will be kept anonymous.

The City of Memphis Public Works Division has identified over 250 illegal dumping locations throughout the City. Debris removal, costs Memphians over two million dollars annually for monitoring, removal, and disposal.
