Shelby County Schools says Sheffield Elementary will reopen Friday, after being closed Thursday due to heating issues at the school.
The following was sent to Local 24 News Thursday about the heating problems: “We understand this creates an inconvenience to our families but we cannot allow our students to be in a conditions that may impact their well-being.”
Again, school will be back in session Friday.
