MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com)- One person is dead after an attempted home invasion in Parkway Village.
Memphis Police responded to the shooting the 4600 block of Cottonwood near South Perkins Saturday.
According to preliminary information, the suspect was attempting a home invasion and was shot by someone within the residence.
The suspect was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police are investigating.
