Memphis police are investigating after they say a teen was shot Monday just before noon.

It happened in the 1100 block of April Woods Circle, near Breedlove in north Memphis. Police say a 15-year-old was shot. The victim was taken to Regional One in non-critical condition.

Police have not said what led to the shooting, or whether anyone is in custody.
