Thousands of people headed to Downtown Memphis Saturday for the 15th Annual Memphis Pride Fest.
Organizers were ready for about 15,000 people to attend what they call the south’s most colorful event featuring food and live entertainment.
This year the event moved to Tom Lee Park for the first time.
“I love the move because there is more space, and everyone has room to spread out but still come together and be as one. And also, it allows more people to come in and just be open to what everything has here at Pride, so I love that,” said Tanesha Jackson who attend Mid-South Pride every year.
Saturday’s festivities concluded with an after party at the Zebra Lounge in Overton Square.
