Two Men Plead Guilty To Multiple Counts Of First Degree Murder

An investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has resulted in two individuals pleading guilty on multiple counts of First Degree Murder and other charges.

On July 30th TBI Agents began an investigation into the double homicide that occurred in Tipton County at 3144 Glen Springs Rd, Drummond, TN. The investigation resulted in Grand Jury indictments of two individuals.


47-year-old Michael Antony Cullum of Millington was indicted on two counts of First Degree Murder, two counts of Felony Murder, Arson, Theft Under $1000, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.


37-year-old Jason Andrew Holland of Drummond was indicted on two counts of Criminal Responsibility for First Degree Murder, two counts of Criminal Responsibility for Felony Murder, Criminal Responsibility for Aggravated Arson, Tampering with Evidence, and Filing a False Report.

On October 13th, Cullum plead guilty on all counts stemming from the Tipton County double homicide.

In addition to the sentences received on the lesser charges, Cullum received two consecutive life sentences for the First Degree Murder charges. Holland also plead guilty on all counts and is currently awaiting sentencing.


In an unrelated incident, as a result of a joint investigation by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and the TBI, on October 11th, Cullum plead guilty to two counts of First Degree Murder from an incident that occurred in Millington, TN. Cullum received two life sentences without the possibility of parole on these charges.
