A woman was shot while driving through downtown Memphis early Saturday morning.
Memphis Police said it happened at 2:30 a.m. near Madison Avenue and Danny Thomas.
In tweet, MPD said two women told investigator they were driving when a gunshot came flying through their back window.
One woman was hit. She is expected to be okay.
No word yet on the circumstances surrounding the shooting or a suspect.
