On Newsfeed Now for April 10 our first stop was in Central Mississippi where community members are stirred up about a newspaper’s opinion letters. Some say they were too “racist” and should not have been printed. WJTV’s Lanaya Lewis was with us to share the various reactions.

Our conversation turned to golf at the 3:15 mark. We took you back to The Masters to meet up with WJBF’s Ashley Osborne to hear about her special connection with golf great Fred Couples, who won the green jacket back in 1992.

Louisiana was our third stop at 10:35 into the program for a chat about vaping. One of the most popular items being sold at one store are Juuls, which have chemicals built into a device as small as a jump drive. WVLA’s Jonah Gilmore told us why this has officials pushing to raise the minimum purchase age for tobacco products.

And finally, at 14:45, we headed to Kansas where former U.S. Senate powerhouse Bob Dole is still going strong at age 95. The former presidential candidate attended a party at a VA center that bears his name. KSNW’s Craig Andres joined the conversation with details on what turned out to be a reunion of a lot of veterans.
