On Newsfeed Now for April 16 we took you live to Paris for the latest on the Monday fire that ravaged the historic Notre Dame Cathedral. CNN Reporter Hadas Gold shared with us the emotion on the streets as a symbol of Paris went up in flames. She also told us a campaign is getting underway for rebuilding the landmark.

At the 6:30 mark we were back stateside with a stop in the Florida Panhandle on the trail of the Easter Bunny. WKRG’s Chris Best found him at an unlikely place where a crowd gathered to watch daredevils in a motorcycle act called the “Walls of Death.”

Wild horses dragged us away at 11:40 in the show to the Arkansas-Missouri border. A government program is offering $1,000 for people who adopt wild horses that are roaming across ten western states. KOLR’s Chrystal Blair took us to a Harrison, Arkansas ranch where some of these horses are being held for adoption.

And finally, at 16:30 we met a granny like no other. The 69-year-old central Arkansas woman holds records in weightlifting and has no problem picking up more than 300 pounds! KARK’s Mitch McCoy told us what motivates her to do it.
