On Newsfeed Now for April 30 our first stop was in Louisiana where bullies should beware. That’s because local schools are taking steps to ensure kids are safe and have outlets to address bullying. WVLA’s Johan Gilmore told us what stepped-up measures are being put in place.

Tuesday’s other stories with scroll to times:
7:30 – Arkansas boy gets stuck in park swing. Firefighters in Malvern had to be called to help the 10-year-old who found himself in a tight squeeze. KARK’s Susan El Khoury joined us to say the boy and his mom can laugh about it now but it took about an hour to get him free.

10:50 – Kansas sheriff and undersheriff shot. Both men were wounded at seperate locations while trying to bring in the same suspect on Monday. KSNW’s Gwyn Bevel shared the latest details on the suspect, who she says was later found dead, along with his father.

13:40 – New technology could help police slow the ‘high-speed chase.’ Law enforcement agencies in more than 20 states are using the Starchase system in hopes of avoiding injuries/deaths in police pursuits. WKRG’s Bill Riales was with us to explain how it works.
