On Newsfeed Now for March 27, we began with a deadly truck explosion in south Arkansas that was felt within a 60-mile radius. KARK’s Stephanie Sharp joined us from the scene near Camden where the blast left a huge hole on a state highway.

Our next stop at 5:15 into the show took us to Nashville, Tennessee where the search is on for a man who attacked a teen girl alongside an interstate after she pulled over with car trouble. The man tried to drag her down a hill but she broke free. WKRN’s Brent Remadna shared details.

At 10:45 we moved on to Tyler, Texas where a fast food customer recently found a surprise in their drive-thru order. There was a box cutter in the bag with the food! Annalise Coble with KETK gave us a look at what Taco Bell’s corporate office had to say about the mistake.

A dispute over an iconic photo was our focus at 15:25 into the show. The picture from a long and bloody battle during the Vietnam War has two families at odds over who is shown in the photograph. WKRG’s Bill Riales joined the conversation to tell us more.

And finally, at the 21:10 mark, a look at how two women in Louisiana are breaking into the male-dominated world of sports training. They provide everything from nutrition after practice to keeping up the athletes; momentum during workouts and on the field. KLFY’s Emily Giangreco told us all about the dynamic duo at the University of Louisiana.
