MEMPHIS, Tennessee — Seven Memphis area basketball teams are still alive in the Boys and Girls State Basketball tournament.
The annual competition is postponed amid the COVID-19 outbreak, leaving teams in limbo for when or if they will have their chance to compete for a gold ball.
The TSSAA has a regularly scheduled conference call on Tuesday. The tournaments will be a topic of discussion, but there is no guarantee a final decision will be made at that time.
