Atlanta Hawks public address announcer and former V-103 morning host Ryan Cameron announced on his Instagram feed Sunday morning that he is officially the new public address announcer for the Atlanta Falcons.
His position was initially announced Saturday night by former news anchor Monica Pearson, but had not been confirmed by Cameron or the Falcons.
Cameron has had a long association with the Hawks, providing a strong voice to the basketball team. Many fans are hoping he will provide the same type of voice to the Falcons.
In his Instagram video, Cameron said he was happy that the NFL was allowing the P.A. announcers to loosen up and have more fun with the crowd during the game.
