MEMPHIS WEATHER – Get ready for a long stretch of well above average temperatures.

Skies will be mostly cloudy Saturday evening and gradually become partly cloudy by morning. Temps in Memphis will go from the low 60s at 7:00pm to the upper 50s at 10:00pm. Morning lows will range from the low 50s in Memphis to the upper 40s to around 50 in outlying areas.

Look for plenty of sunshine Sunday with a few clouds mixing in here and there. Afternoon highs will be in the low to mid 70s. In Memphis, we are forecast to tie our record high of 76° set back in 1986. Sunday night lows will stay in the upper 50s.

Mid 70s continue for Monday with isolated showers possible late Monday evening and into the overnight. Scattered showers are a better bet on Tuesday with our next cold front. We won’t see a huge cooldown, though, as highs stay in the upper 60s. Highs jump back into the 70s for Wednesday and Thursday. A more powerful cold front is currently scheduled to move through the mid-south on Friday. A few storms will be possible for the end of the work week with a much bigger cooldown expected into next weekend.
