MEMPHIS WEATHER – Our next cold front will bring some major changes for the weekend forecast.
A Friday evening cold front will clear out scattered showers from west to east Friday night. All rain should be done in the mid-south by midnight with skies very quickly becoming clear. Temps in Memphis will go from the low 60s at 7:00pm to the mid 50s at 10:00pm. Overnight lows will be in the mid to upper 30s areawide.
We’re expecting plenty of sun for Saturday, but afternoon highs will only warm into the upper 40s and low 50s. Saturday night lows are expected to drop close to the freezing mark, so if you did any early planting this year, make sure everything is covered up. You’ll also want to check on any outdoor pets to make sure they have a way of staying warm.
Highs will rebound on Sunday as we warm close to 60°. Rain will be possible overnight Sunday as a warm front moves in from our south. Showers and a few storms look like a good bet for Monday, especially early in the day. Highs on Monday will be in the low 60s.
Our hot day next week will be Tuesday with highs in the low 70s. This is just ahead of a cold front that will move in on Wednesday. Scattered storms will be possible Tuesday with more likely rain and storm chances for midweek. High temps will eventually fall back into the 50s for the end of the week behind this front.
