Heavy rain continues for parts of the valley with lighter rain after midnight. Flooding concerns continue through Monday.
Lower elevation flooding will be mostly roads, streams and creeks. Flood warnings are in effect around the Dixie, Beckworth, Caldor, and Glass fires due to landslides and debris flows.
Snow level starts dropping Monday and will eventually lower to near lake level. Winter Storm Warning in effect above 6000 feet. The passes will get 10-48" of snow by late Monday.
MONDAY MORNING: Scattered showers with lows in the 50s. Rain continues at Lake Tahoe with lows near 40°. Possible flooding and debris flows through the early morning hours.
MONDAY: Scattered showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms. Highs in the low 60s. Lake Tahoe highs in the 30s to near 40°. Snow level dropping to near 5500-6000 feet. WINTER STORM WARNING until 11pm with 10-48" of new snow over the passes.
TUESDAY: Chance of afternoon showers with highs in the low 60s. Lake Tahoe highs in the 40s with a chance of rain and snow showers.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 60s. Lake Tahoe highs in the mid-50s with a mix of sun and clouds.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny with highs in the low 70s. Lake Tahoe highs in the low 60s with partly cloudy skies.
FRIDAY: Sunny with highs near 70°. Lake Tahoe highs near 60° with partly cloudy skies.
SATURDAY: Partly cloudy with highs in the upper 60s. Lake Tahoe highs in the upper 50s.
SUNDAY: Partly cloudy with highs in the upper 60s. Lake Tahoe highs in the upper 50s.
