MEMPHIS WEATHER – Scattered showers and storms will be possible Saturday evening, especially across northwest Tennessee. Skies will dry out by midnight with isolated rain possible into Sunday morning. Temps in Memphis will be in the upper 80s around 7:00pm and the low 80s around 10:00pm. Sunday will be hot and humid with afternoon highs in the low 90s and feel like temps in the upper 90s. Skies will be partly cloudy with isolated storms possible in the afternoon. Our severe threat is low, but any areas that see rain will see a brief break from the heat and humidity. Lows Sunday night will fall into the low and mid 70s.
Isolated storm chances stick around for Monday with highs once again in the low 90s. Humidity levels will be on the raise, meaning feel like temps will be around 100 in many spots. Storm chances increase for Tuesday and Wednesday as a cold front moves into northeast Arkansas. This will provide more chances for relief from the heat, but highs are still expected to be in the low 90s for areas that stay dry. Feel like temps will be right around 100.
Storm chances decrease some into Thursday and Friday as highs remain stuck in the low 90s and feel like temps hover around 100. Things look hot and humid, but dry, heading into next weekend.
