Great Weekend Weather Continues For Sunday

Changes coming next week.

MEMPHIS WEATHER – Hopefully there are no complaints with the end of the weekend forecast.

Saturday night will see mostly clear skies as temps in Memphis fall into the upper 60s by 10:00pm. Overnight lows will be around 60 in Memphis. Outlying areas should fall into the mid and upper 50s.

Sunday looks beautiful with plenty of sunshine and highs in the upper 70s to around 80. Lows Sunday night will be in the upper 50s. Monday might be a degree or two cooler, but very similar to Sunday.

The remnants of Irma are forecast to move into west Tennessee by Tuesday of next week. At the moment, it looks like the mid-south will see rain and cooler temps, but nothing like the impact the remnants of Harvey had on the mid-south. Rain will be most likely Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs on Tuesday may not get out of the 60s. Highs on Wednesday will be in the low 70s.

Things will try to get back to normal for the second half of next week. Highs will be back in the mid to upper 80s by Friday and the weekend.

As of Saturday afternoon, Hurricane Irma has weakened to a Cat 3 hurricane after hitting Cuba. Sustained winds are around 125mph, but this storm is expected to strengthen Saturday evening and hit the Florida Keys Sunday morning as a Cat 4 with winds of at least 140mph. The storm is expected to continue up Florida’s western coastline into Monday.
