Here is a look at our forecast. Sweltering humidity will stick around the rest of the week as heat index numbers should flirt with or exceed one hundred degrees every afternoon. The only saving grace in this heat will be in the form of scattered showers and thunderstorms each afternoon. I don’t believe any of our upcoming days over the Holiday weekend will be wash outs. There will be a chance for storms mainly between 1-7 p.m. July Fourth. Chances for wet weather will decrease toward 8 p.m. which would be good for any fireworks displays. There will be less coverage of storms this weekend but the heat will remain relentless. You know we’ll keep you updated.
