MEMPHIS WEATHER – Skies will mostly cloudy Sunday night with a few scattered showers possible. Temps in Memphis should hold steady in the mid 50s Sunday evening before warming overnight. Temps by Monday morning should be close to 60 areawide.
Isolated showers will be possible Monday morning, especially for areas north of I-40, but the start of the work week looks fairly dry. Skies will remain mostly cloudy with the occasional bit of sunshine as highs warm into the low and mid 70s. Winds will be breezy, gusting up to 25mph in the afternoon. Tuesday will be similar to Monday with cloudy skies, isolated showers, breezy winds, and highs in the mid 70s.
Rain looks likely for Wednesday as our next cold front moves into the picture, especially later in the day. No severe weather is expected, but heavy rain looks likely to go along with a few storms. Several inches of rain will be possible for midweek, which could lead to some flooding concerns.
Scattered showers and storms will be possible Thursday through Saturday as highs for the most part sticking in the 60s. A few more inches of rain will be possible during this time, so flooding will continue to be a concern heading into next weekend.
