Next Rain Chance Moves In Late Wednesday

Cooler weather returns after rain exits

MEMPHIS WEATHER – Skies will begin clear Wednesday morning, but gradually become cloudy as we go through the day. Isolated afternoon showers will be possible for areas along and west of the Mississippi River. Temps in Memphis will be in the mid 50s at 9:00am and the mid 60s at noon. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 60s with a few 70s possible in spots.

Rain chances will increase overnight Wednesday as our next cold front approaches the mid-south. Lows Wednesday night will be in the low 50s. Showers will continue into Thursday morning, but should start clearing by the afternoon as our next front passes. Highs on Thursday will be in the mid 60s.

Friday will see a return of sunny skies, but highs will dip into the upper 50s. As sun continues into the weekend, highs will warm back into the mid and upper 60s.

Our next big weather maker is on track to move into the mid-south early next week. The timing is still up in the air, but expect rain and a few storms between Monday and Tuesday as highs remain in the 60s.
