MEMPHIS WEATHER – A Freeze Warning is in effect for the entire mid-south Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

Skies will start off clear Wednesday evening and become cloudy overnight. While it won’t be as cold as Tuesday night, lows are still expected to hit the upper 20s to around 30 for much of the viewing area.

Thursday will be cloudy with afternoon highs around 50. The freeze threat will be gone Thursday night as lows only drop into the mid 40s. A few scattered showers will be possible during the day Friday as highs hit the mid and upper 60s for your St. Patrick’s Day. A better chance for rain and a few rumbles of thunder will move in late Friday night and into Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon looks dry with highs in the mid 60s.

Temps will continue to warm. Sunday’s highs will be in the mid 60s under partly sunny skies. Highs jump into the low and mid 70s for the first day of spring Monday. Scattered showers and storms will be possible Tuesday, leading to a cooldown into the 60s for the middle of next week.
