Quiet Weather Continues This Weekend

Highs on Sunday in the 60s.

MEMPHIS WEATHER – The weather looks great as we get closer to the start of spring on Monday.

Skies will be mostly clear Saturday night across the mid-south. Temps in Memphis will go from the mid 60s at 7:00pm to the mid 50s at 10:00pm. Overnight lows will be in the low to mid 40s in most spots. Parts of the Tennessee River Valley could slip into the 30s, leading to some areas of frost.

Sunday will start off sunny with some cloud cover building into the afternoon. We will stay dry with highs ranging for the low to mid 60s in northeast Arkansas and west Tennessee to the upper 60s in north Mississippi. Sunday night lows will stay in the 50s.

Highs for the first day of spring on Monday will be close to 80 under a mix of sun and clouds. Our next cold front will start moving in overnight Monday and into Tuesday morning. This could lead to a few scattered showers and storms on Tuesday. Highs on Tuesday will drop to around 70. A few lingering showers will be possible Wednesday, especially early in the day, as highs continue to drop into the upper 50s to around 60.

Highs jump back into the 70s for the second half of next week. Showers and storms will be possible sometime in the Friday to Saturday timeframe, depending on when our next cold front rolls into the picture.
