MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – Stormy weather on Monday will lead to some big changes in our weather pattern this week.

A few storms will be possible Sunday evening across the Mid-South will better storm chances arriving by sunrise on Monday. Severe weather should stay on the low end overnight. Temps in Memphis will be in the mid 80s around 7:00pm and around 80 by 10:00pm. Monday morning lows will be in the low to mid 70s.

Scattered storms should clear by mid-morning Monday, giving us a break heading into lunchtime. Another round of storms is expected to develop for the afternoon and early evening ahead of our next cold front.

The entire Mid-South will be under a Slight Risk (2/5) for severe weather later in the day Monday. Damaging winds and heavy downpours will be the main concerns with any storms that become severe.

Highs Monday will be in the upper 80s. Storm chances move out Monday night as our front passes with overnight lows falling into the upper 60s and low 70s.

The rest of the work week is looking dry and pleasant behind Monday’s cold front. Look for sunny skies with just a few clouds with highs in the mid to upper 80s starting Tuesday and continuing through Friday. Overnight lows will dip into the mid and upper 60s. Skies remain dry for next weekend, but look for temps to warm closer to normal.
