MEMPHIS, Tenn (localmemphis.com) – Skies will become cloudy Wednesday night with temps in Memphis falling into the mid 50s by 10:00pm. Thursday morning lows will be in the upper 40s to around 50.

Showers will be likely Thursday, especially across northern Mississippi, as the remnants of Hurricane Willa pass to our south. Highs Thursday will only warm into the mid and upper 50s under cloudy and rainy skies. Lows Thursday night will fall to around 50 as the chance for showers will continue.

A few lingering showers will be possible Friday morning before things dry out for the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 50s to around 60 as cloudy skies are expected to stick around for the rest of the day.

The weekend is looking warmer with highs in the mid 60s. We will see partly cloudy skies with an isolated chance for showers on Saturday. We will see a slightly better chance for showers on Sunday as our next cold front approaches.

Things dry out early next week on the back end of that cold front. Highs should gradually warm into the mid and upper 60s by the middle of next week.
