Brittani Moncrease is a Multi-Skilled Journalist for Local Memphis 24 and CW 30.
Before moving to Memphis, Brittani worked as a Video Journalist for Spectrum News in Syracuse, New York. She reported on some of Central New York’s and the Southern Tier’s top stories while also filling in on the anchor desk and traffic reporting. Her follow up series on the kidnapping of Brittany Fish gained the attention of the Dr. Phil Show and allowed Brittani to be featured as a guest.
Prior to her time in New York, Brittani worked at the CBS-affiliate in Philadelphia as a Production Assistant, Assignment Desk Editor and Digital Producer. She also produced the daily segments Good Question and The Digital Brief.
Brittani is a graduate of Howard University earning her Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and Master’s in Public Policy. She was an Annenberg Honors Fellow, Lionel Chapman Fellow for ABC Nightline and Emma Bowen Foundation Fellow.
Brittani is a native of Michigan but proud to make Memphis her new home. When not on a story she enjoys researching the history of Black Medical Schools and Colleges with her family, traveling and spending time with her dog, Bella.
