MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – A registered sex offender faces new charges after police say he was caught outside the bedroom window of an 11-year-old girl, with his pants down.
42-years-old Erico Marion is charged with indecent exposure to a minor, aggravated criminal trespass, and not having his identification on him as required by law for sex offenders.
Police say the girl’s mother called them Saturday after spotting Marion outside her daughter’s bedroom in the 2600 block of Burns Street. She said her daughter had seen a man outside, and the mother told police when she looked out the kitchen window, she could see Marion with his pants down, masturbating while looking through her daughter’s window.
The mother told police she tried to take a photo of the suspect, but the flash went off, and he took off running. Officers were around the corner, and say they spotted Marion with his pants still down, and took him into custody.
Investigators say Marion is a registered sex offender and did not have his identification on him.
Bond was set at $7500. He is due in court Wednesday.
