MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – A Frayser woman is charged after police say she pulled a gun on a 13-year-old girl.

36-year-old Trecia Triggs is charged with aggravated assault.

Police say about 2:00 p.m. August 28th, the girl and a group of other kids were confronted by Triggs in the woman’s yard in the 800 block of Frayser Blvd. The girl told police as they began to leave, one of the kids yelled obscenities at Triggs.

The girl said Triggs then got into a car, pulled up next to her, and pointed a pink, silver, and black handgun at her. The girl told officers Triggs said, “Yeah, you walking by yourself now? You scared? You scared?” The victim said she froze up and feared for her life before Triggs drove away. The girl ran to Westside Middle School to get help.

Police say during questioning, Triggs admitted to driving toward the 13-year-old and having her gun on her at the time. According to the affidavit, she told officers she confronted the girl and asked if she “had anything else to say now?”

Bond was set at $5,000 for Triggs and she is due in court later this month.
